Tara, what made you choose Hello, Dolly! for the Spring Musical this year?
Tara: Hello, Dolly! is a celebration of life that can be enjoyed by multi-generational audiences. Choosing the title for our spring musical is a highlight for me every year. I carefully consider titles with my actors, and community in mind. This year with multiple high school seniors involved and a passionate and very involved group of younger actors, I knew I needed a show that could showcase their wide-range of talent. Dolly offers large musical numbers that affords the ensemble constant involvement in the show and a rehearsal process where they can improve their dance and vocal skills. In addition, the shows large number of principal character and featured roles allows many cast members a chance to grow and shine!
