It's going to be EPIC 🎉

Welcome to Teen Rep!

The Teen Repertory Division is Newport Children’s Theatre’s premier program for dedicated young performers ages 13–18. This immersive, nine-month journey is designed for serious students of the performing arts who are eager to develop their craft in a supportive and challenging environment.

Throughout the year, participants receive comprehensive training in acting, guided by Tara O'Hare, our experienced Artistic Director. Our curriculum goes beyond the basics, delving into advanced theatre techniques, character development, scene study, and ensemble work. Students also gain hands-on experience in audition skills, stage presence, and the collaborative process that brings productions to life.

The program culminates in an unforgettable field trip to New York City, where students experience the magic of Broadway firsthand by attending a top-tier Broadway show. This inspiring finale not only celebrates their hard work but also connects them to the larger world of professional theatre.

Join the Teen Repertory Division and take your passion for performance to the next level—right here in Newport, with memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.
