Questions
HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD FOR CAMP? Simply click on the button that say REGISTER HERE to register your child for camp. There is a $275 fee due at the time of registration. Your child may not attend the first day of camp until they have registered.
DO I NEED TO ATTEND EVERY SESSION? We understand that you may have an unexpected reason to miss a session. We expect you to try and make every session for the benefit of your actor but if you have to miss a session please let the Camp Director know as soon as possible. You must pay for the whole week of camp even if you miss a day or more.
​​​​​Campers will spend the week learning acting and improvisational skills through a variety of theatre games and performance experiences. Actors will write their own monologues, scenes and/or comedy sketches! This fun and interactive camp is run by NCT Alum, JJ Richards.
The fee for this camp is $275 through 4/15/26, $300 thereafter. You must complete payment at registration. Payment plans are available via AfterPay, Klarna, and PayLater.

HOW DO I PAY FOR THE CAMP? When you register, you will pay with your credit card in full. If you wish to use a payment plan program, such as Klarna or AfterPay those options will be available to you on the pay screen.
DO YOU TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF MY CHILD? It is NCT's policy to take photographs through the camp week and post them for promotional purposes on our website, social media accounts, and publications. Names of children will never be published with their photograph. It is possible to opt out of this policy. If you have questions, email us at board@newportchildrenstheatre.org
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD BRING TO CAMP? Before camp begins, you will receive an email with the specifics of what you need to bring each day. Typically, we require you bring lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. A second layer is advisable in case your child gets cold with air conditioning.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T PICK UP MY CHILD? We require you to pick up your child promptly at 2:30pm. If you cannot pick up your child, we ask that you assign a family member or friend who you authorize to pick up your child. You can indicate that person(s) on your registration form. In the event of a true emergency, you can text us at ‪(401) 213-9266‬.
